Bittersweet

by canmexma

I know that all Northfielders felt sadness when the campus was closed, but I prayed that it would be used in a way that honored its original purpose. It pleases me to hear that it will again be used to promote great literature (as it was in my days), a Chistian educational heritage, and a focus on missions.

In reference to the comment about D.L. Moody in his grave, he’s not there! if you read in his Biography – he said when he passed on he’d be more alive than he ever was!! :)

As for making it a ‘works’ school, not ‘living by the Bible’ school, i’m not sure why you didn’t close it up when you ‘changed traditions’ as now the tradition doesn’t live on, but instead it’s the new 20th century peer pressured ways that are running the school.

As far as i’m concerned – it’s a ‘new school’ you might as well have changed the name when you changed the ways….. :(
